Longer than I would like to admit ago my sister-in-law commissioned me to do a similar painting of this baby Groot image she sends me from the Cinnamon Cooney, AKA The Art Sherpa.
I loved his unique smile that The Art Sherpa has created for this particular Groot however I feel he needs to grow up some for the image I am to create with credit to this beautiful fandom piece. I get to work. The time and details…exhausting and beautiful. He is finally complete and ready for his new home with his dirty pour background and thought bubble in the shape of a heart. I give the commission to my sister, she loves it, all is wonderful. Some time passes and I am ready to post him on my social media sites, i.e. Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Credit on the image is given. I send a message to Ms. Cooney asking permission to share this image with her deserved credit for the inspiration. Yesterday she retweets my Twitter post!
I am over the moon with excitement and I feel honored. What an experience!
